The Tampa Tribune served our community for 121 years, but on May 3, 2016, the presses rolled for the last time, destroying the lives of over 600 dedicated professionals. Tampa filmmaker Deborah Kerr and her crew had been shooting a documentary about how a newspaper is made when the company began to unravel. She used her unprecedented access to share the stories of the hardworking team who painstakingly put out edition after edition of the Tampa Tribune, even in the face of an uncertain future.
